Singing in the Rain

Perhaps some of you are wondering what happened in these last days.
Well I'm singing (and dancing) under (and despite) the rain!

Although this one is the more "dancer" spring in my memories, with water in buckets almost every day, finally one of my dreams are beginning to come true: Trees have arrived!

I felt a surge of happiness, just like when I was a child and the heart was felt strong, when the crane has pulled out the trees that we had chosen, and it has fallen them into our fence.
Home at last!

Finalmente a casa!!

We were so lucky that since the day they arrived
spring gave us the first three consecutive days of sunshine

And those RED roses what are they doing  just in my garden?
(I'm not a red lover at all!)
Well, that's another story, I will tell another day.

Soon with other news!
A presto con altre novità!

  1. Good Morning Silvia, How exciting to receive such large trees.... I can feel how excited you are. I see one of the trees is an Olive tree. I love their silvery/green leaves and of course the lovely olives later in the year.
We had an Olive tree when we lived in Cyprus and I used to pick the olives, some we turned into olive oil and some I brined to use the following year.
Living here in England, I cannot grow olives anymore, I have to buy them from the shop.
    Aaahh memories.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  5. You are welcome to send those gorgeous red roses to my garden!
I can see why you are dancing! How marvellous to put in full grown trees! You don't have to wonder what your garden will look like when they are finally grown, you can see it now. Beautiful, my dearest Silvia, just beautiful. and how nice to see photos of your handsome husband and equally handsome little son.
    Love and hugs, Cindy
